Supervisor: Candice Tillman, M.S., LPC-Supervisor, Certified EMDR Therapist

My Mission: To work with children, adolescents, and adults to overcome adversity and help facilitate positive change.

My Focus/Philosophy: I believe everyone is unique and their treatment should be based on their individual needs. People are resilient when faced with adversity. Positive change can occur when an individual is willing to participate in the therapeutic process and trust their counselor. Some of the skills that I will bring to use in the therapeutic process include listening, reflecting, flexibility, and authenticity.

Experience: I have worked as a first-grade teacher for one year and an elementary special education teacher for four years. I have experience working with children in the areas of autism, intellectual and learning disabilities, behavioral/mood disorders, suicidal ideation and self-injury, trauma, and many other issues.

About Me: I was born and raised in the Richmond/Rosenberg area and continue to live there. I have a five-year-old German Shepherd mix dog that I love spending time with. I also enjoy spending time with my family and friends, shopping, and being outside.

Education and Credentials: Bachelor of Science, Interdisciplinary Studies from Sam Houston State University and a Master of Education, Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Lamar University. I am also a Certified Grief Counseling Specialist.

Areas of Specialty: children, adolescents, adults, anxiety, depression, grief, crisis and trauma, autism, ADHD, social skills, emotional regulation
